Warren Budning holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business (2013) and has spent several years working in recreation and project management in the municipal government, and real estate sectors. As an entrepreneur, Warren is a Co-Founder of SmartMarks Tutorials, where he managed operations, contract negotiations, and communications for the business. Along with Warren’s current duties liaising with Sheiner Group/Living Well Homes’ investors, he is also involved in the financing and acquisition of new properties and is responsible for the analysis and reporting of Living Well Homes’ portfolios. The youngest city councillor in the province of Quebec, Warren has been an active member of council in the Montreal suburb of Hampstead since 2013, is responsible for the Town’s communications portfolio and holds the position of Vice Chairman for the town’s Planning and Advisory Committee.
Stephanie works closely with the Marketing and Development Departments, proposing property colour schemes and coordinating the interior design of the model apartments, leasing offices, clubhouses and select amenities. With her experience in architectural drawing, Stephanie is also called upon to produce visual materials such as floor plans, renderings, site plans, and other graphic design projects, as well as assisting with social media content.
Stephanie graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and also holds a diploma in Interior Design from Lasalle College. Her interest in the built environment drew her to the world of real estate investment.
May is Sheiner Group’s Bookkeeper, handling such areas as accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, payroll, bank accounts reconciliations, and tax remittances. Aside from these functions, May also maintains brokerage accounts, prepares year-end files, and assists the company’s Controller, as needed.
Prior to joining Sheiner Group, May worked as accounting clerk for Montreal Chinese Community and Cultural Centre (MCCUC). She holds a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from Nanjing University (1990) as well as a Diploma in Computerized Accounting from ACCESS Riverside Schoolboard (2005).
Julie has been a team member at Sheiner Group for more than a decade, working in administration and now in her newly expanded role as Office Manager. She is considered to be the go-to team member in terms of organizational prowess and efficient clerical skills, helping to fuels Sheiner Group’s daily functions. She is responsible for a wide array of administrative duties including minute book organization, group insurance claims, lease edits, correspondence, and bookkeeping. She also looks after the needs of the Executive Team and coordinates the office’s social gatherings.
Parviz’s responsibilities include overseeing the accounting for the entire Sheiner Group portfolio. She successfully maintains very strong relationships with the major Canadian banks and lending institutions, as well as managing the bookkeeping and collections methods of all third party property managers. In addition, Parviz participates in creating budgets for both the Group’s new construction developments and acquisitions.
Parviz graduated with a CMA from McGill University in 1994. Prior to joining Sheiner Group, Parviz worked for Miromar Properties where her primary duties included the accounting for the company’s portfolio of outlet properties in Canada and the U.S., and the supervision of its property managers.
Earl Sederoff is responsible for running the day to day operations of the Group as well as overseeing all third party property managers and evaluating emerging markets for both accretive commercial acquisitions and potential land purchases. As Chief Operating Officer, Earl is intricately involved in the acquisition and financing of properties as he carefully monitors every aspect of the teams thorough due diligence and is instrumental in coordinating proper implementation of mortgage arrangements.
Earl graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1984. Prior to joining Sheiner Group, Earl had 15 valuable years of real estate experience. He began his career with Monit International where he was Manager of Leasing and Lease Administration, after which, he joined Dalfen America Corp. where he oversaw the operations, leasing and development of large commercial properties located throughout the south eastern United States.
Pierre holds both a B.A. in Urban Planning (University of Montreal – 1989) and a Masters in Urban Planning (McGill – 1991).
As Director of Development for Sheiner Group, Pierre assumes primary responsibility for all of Sheiner Group’s development activities including identification of developable lands, due diligence, re-zoning, development approvals to project realization. Pierre has excellent knowledge of the development process and possesses the necessary skill set in order to determine the true potential value of properties with respect to their configuration, location, market conditions, and value of a property in terms of size, density, complexities and other important urban planning factors necessary in order to bring to fruition the optimal use and success of a development project. Pierre plays an active role in the evaluation and repositioning of apartment communities acquired by Living Well Homes.
Pierre came to Sheiner Group with 15 years of experience in land development, having began his career in the City of Saint-Jovite, Quebec, where he was Director of the Urban Planning Department for eight years. After which, Pierre worked for seven years as Vice-President of Daniel Arbour & Associates, Quebec’s largest urban planning and development consulting firm, responsible for the firm’s Mont-Tremblant office.
Lloyd Sheiner graduated from McGill University with distinction with a Bachelor Degree in Economics (1982) and a Bachelor Degree in Common Law (1985). He was called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario in 1987.
Lloyd is primarily responsible for the acquisition and development of many of the assets that, today, comprise Sheiner Group’s impressive portfolio. His vision and creativity for the potential of under-utilized or underperforming real estate assets, and ability to execute business plans that rectify those deficiencies, has proven to be key factors for the overall success and growth of the Group.
Gerald Sheiner graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Sir George William College in 1957 and a Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University in 1960. Gerald was called to the Notarial Bar of the Province of Quebec in 1961 whereupon he actively practiced real estate law until the mid-1970’s. In 1990, Gerald participated in an Executive MBA program at Harvard University.
Following 15 years of practice in real estate law and having completed in excess of 18,000 transactions, Gerald began to acquire and structure major real estate transactions for his own account. His experience and expertise play an instrumental role in the success of the organization, particularly in the areas of structuring, documenting and negotiating sophisticated joint ventures, partnerships and financing arrangements.
